A story of grit, perseverance, and refusing to be told no

Born 12 weeks premature and weighing just 3 lbs, doctors told my parents not to expect me to survive the night. I did. Then they told me I would never walk. I did that too.
Living with Cerebral Palsy, I faced a lifetime of people telling me what I could not do. Instead of accepting their limits, I found a way. Every single time.
I learned to ski, ride a motorcycle, drive a manual transmission car, walk a 10km run, skydive from 10,000 feet, and become a certified scuba diver. I built a career from nothing, overcame depression, and turned every setback into a stepping stone.
Today I share that story from the stage, in coaching sessions, and through my book Staggering Towards Success because if I can do it with a disability, you can do it without one.
